The ChicagoLand Glider Council is sponsoring the 2001 Region 7 Late Contest. This contest will be held at the Joliet Park District Airport from June 3-9, 2001. A practice day will be held Saturday June 2nd.

The ChicagoLand Glider Council is sponsoring the 13th annual Northern Illinois Soaring Championships. This handicapped contest runs from April to October, 2001 and is designed to allow everyone a chance to improve their cross-country soaring skills.
